What Is Bathtub Replacement & Installation?
Bathtub replacement swaps an old, worn, or damaged tub for a new one, matched to your plumbing rough-in and finish preferences. In Jackson, WI, this is often driven by a tub that's cracked or outdated, or by a household wanting a different tub style without changing the rest of the bathroom layout.
Why You Need It
A cracked or chipped tub isn't just cosmetic; cracks let water reach the subfloor underneath, and failing caulk or grout around the surround is one of the most common sources of slow, hidden leaks. Worn non-slip surfaces also become a genuine safety hazard over time.
Our Process
1. Inspection and Measurement
We check the existing tub's condition, plumbing connections, and surrounding structure before ordering the replacement.
2. Careful Removal
The old tub is removed, and we inspect the subfloor and framing underneath and behind it for any water damage.
3. Repair and Set
Any needed subfloor or framing repairs are completed, then the new tub is set, leveled, and secured to the rough-in.
4. Surround, Fixtures, and Seal
Surround or tile is finished, fixtures are connected, and every seam is sealed and tested for leaks.
What to Expect
Most straightforward bathtub replacements in Jackson, WI are completed within a day or two, with additional time if surrounding tile or subfloor repair is required. We test all plumbing connections and seals before the bathroom goes back into daily use.
